Every two years, Trondheim plays host to Norway’s biggest music festival. Organized by students, the next one takes place in October 2015. The festival is spread over two weeks and has previously attracted big names such as Jay-Z, Muse, and Calvin Harris.

Everyone from Trondheim knows the Credo restaurant. Credo is run by Heidi Bjerkan, one of Norway’s most highly regarded chefs, and offers a fine dining experience with locally sourced food. A slightly cheaper bistro option is also available upstairs.
